Directions: Designated hill at Battle Creek Regional Park - Winthrop Street

Comments: Lighted sledding area! When snow conditions permit, lights are on from dusk until 9:00 p.m. Sledding is permitted from ½ hour before sunrise (for those early risers).

12-19-2009 UPDATE: Great Hills. Parking is in front at the base. Two Primary Sledding runs. The center of each run has some whoopties so I like to ride just outside of center. The kids love this. You will have to walk up the hill. At the top of the first hill is a staging area and if you care to walk up a little further to the top of the hill there is a second staging area about 10 to 15 ft higher in elevation. With enough speed you can just make it down both hills in one run. It's quite a walk back up though! My 5yo can make it. My 2yo gets pulled up in the sled by me.
