Directions: Sledding hill is at the corner of Bergen Ave. and Passaic Ave. Next to the K-Mart, across from the Applebee's.

Comments: Great long hill everyone from the area knows about. The town even has hay bales set up at the very end of it, in case you go to far! Wide hill allows for dozens of people to go down at once. Park on the hill on Afton Street, or any of the sidestreets off of it.

Directions: Hudson County Park/Braddock Park. . East The hill is right across from the Stonhenge round apartment building.

Comments: Park on the street at Bull's Ferry Road and Kennedy Blvd. You can sled at night. A short, speedy fun hill.

Directions: This is the hill by the lake in Cheesequake State Park, adjacent to the Hooks Creek Lake parking area. The park is accessible from exit 120 off the Garden State Parkway and from Route 34.

Comments: It has smooth and bumpy lanes. There is never a problem parking, but I do not think the rest rooms are open in winter. There is a shopping center not too far away with Dunkin Donuts, Pizza Hut, etc. for post-sledding warmth and food!!

Comments: The Holmdel Park supervised sledding area is open when two or more inches of snow cover the hill. Afterwards, head to the shelter building to warm up by the fireplace with a hot chocolate to warm your chilled bones.

Comments: Watchout for the tombstones. Just joking. Park in the Aldi lot on Rt 36 and climb up the hill right in back and let 'er rip!
