Directions: Enter "Hill Air Force Base" through the main gate (Hill Field Road gate). After the I.D. check take the first left (you should see a jogging track on the left of the road and a campsite and a indoor recreation center and baseball field on your right if you're on the right street). Keep going down that street until you pass an aluminum skatepark (on left) and a church (on right) keep going until you see a hill to your left with trees on top of it and a pond below. Go a little bit further until there are no more trees above the hill or pond below (you will most likely see sledders). Comments: It is a very fun hill to sled on, especially on a snow tube. If you sled all the way down the hill and don't stop, then there is a another smaller hill to go down. So it is almost like to hills in one! There's two hills. One short one with a jump and another that is Long. The first video above we go more down the big hill, but in the second we go more down the small one with the jump. Enjoy. Directions: Awesome sledding hill on top of the
mountains on the road between Fairview & Huntington in Utah. It is
about a mile or two up the canyon from Huntington Reservoir. If you drive up
there, you may or may not find this exact hill, but there are a million other hills that are just as good. It's on the south side of the road. We just parked on the side of the road as there's no parking lots. The hill is within view of where we parked, so we could see our cars. Comments: People park along side of the road there all winter so I don't think there is any danger of being towed. There would be some danger of getting hit with snow plows if it's during a storm, but we've even done that on occasion and been OK. This area has a lot of snowmobilers, so you may see them. We usually go in the springtime after the snowmobilers have given up. The hazards would be trees lining or below the hill. Trees are the only hazards, but when there's enough snow, there's plenty of runout before you get to any trees. Webmaster's Note: I had found the first video so entertaining that it has been featured on the main page of SledRiding.com. It will remain featured there until another video comes along that has all of the qualities to replace it. I wish I had the chance to experience it. It looks like soooooooo much fun!!
