Directions: Our property, Sharp Park, is located at Cobble Hill in southern Milton (at the end of Cobble Hill Road). Check out our web site at SharpPark.com.

Comments: It has 300 feet of verticle terrian, starting with a very gentle slope suitable for small children and advancing in steepness as you proceed upward. Only the bottom 1/3 of the steeper portion of the hill is suitable for sliding. Experienced snowboarders or skiers will find the upper slope very challenging. Snow tubes work best especially in deeper snow. We have a fleet of 23 snow tubes available for rental for $10 for 2 hours. Our barn is still under construction as of 1/1/2010, but it will have bathrooms for guests, hot drinks, Vermont products and a warming area. Sliding is free with your own equipment. All sliding is at your own risk.

Directions: Sled riding hill is the section of Lincoln Gap Road in the Green Mountains that connects Warren and Lincoln counties. Hikers know it well as a way to access the Long Trail that traverses the state and as a gateway for the trek to Mount Abraham.

Comments: "Section of road is closed in the winter. It is about a 30 minute hike up the closed road section for a two mile long ripping run down. For parking, you go up Lincoln Gap Road until it ends (closure). People park there and walk up the two mile stretch. There is one house there where the active road ends, but the folks who live there go to Fl for the winter. I wouldn't suggest parking in their driveway but you can park across the street", so says Whitney Phillips, President of Mad River Rocket sleds.
