Directions: Our sledding hill is part of
Blackwater Falls State Park, 2 miles from Davis, WV.
Comments: I have a outdoor activity consession at this location. We are Highland Scene Tours, Sledding and Nordic Center. We have a beautiful 300+ ft. hill, a nice indoor rental and consession buildin (snacks, sodas, hot drinks sold). From this location, our customers can watch the sledding activities of the hill. We offer sled rentals and cross-country ski equipment rentals. We also have cross-country skiing lessons. Our sled hill has a tow rope which operates if we have 12 inches or more of snow on the weekends. This doesn't usually happen until the middle of January, but can open sooner based on the amount of snow that we receive. The hill and tow area are groomed and maintained for sledding.
